Job Summary:
To effectively teach Chemistry to classes XI and XII in accordance with the CBSE curriculum, focusing on concept clarity, lab work, and board exam readiness. The teacher will contribute to the academic and overall development of students through innovative and engaging teaching methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Chemistry to students of Classes XI and XII as per CBSE guidelines.
- Develop and deliver lesson plans, question papers, lab manuals, and assignments.
- Conduct regular practical classes in the Chemistry lab, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
- Assess students through formative and summative assessments, projects, and board exam pattern tests.
- Prepare students for Class XII CBSE board exams, competitive exams (NEET, JEE Main, etc.), and Olympiads.
- Participate in science exhibitions, seminars, and school events.
- Collaborate with faculty on interdisciplinary projects and curriculum development.
- Maintain records of attendance, performance, and laboratory work.
- Provide remedial support to students who need additional academic help.
- Stay updated with changes in the CBSE syllabus, assessment schemes, and NEP recommendations.
Educational Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Chemistry / Bio-Chemistry from a recognized university with at least 50% marks.
- B.Ed. degree from a recognized institution (mandatory as per CBSE norms).
Preferred Qualifications:
- CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test) qualified – optional but preferred.
- Additional certifications in digital teaching or laboratory management are an advantage.
Experience:
- Fresh postgraduates with good communication skills and subject command may also be considered.
