Job Summary:

The TGT cum NTT will be responsible for teaching both Nursery (Pre-Primary) and Primary/Middle School classes (up to Class VIII) as per school allocation. The role demands a strong command over early childhood education methodologies and a clear understanding of subject teaching for primary/middle levels, ensuring a seamless learning experience for children through interactive and caring methods.

Key Responsibilities:

Nursery Teacher (NTT) Duties:

  • Conduct age-appropriate, activity-based learning for Nursery/Kindergarten students.
  • Teach foundational concepts in English, Numbers, Environment, Colors, and Shapes.
  • Design engaging lesson plans using rhymes, storytelling, art & craft, music, games, etc.
  • Maintain a nurturing, safe, and stimulating classroom environment.
  • Monitor and document children’s developmental milestones and daily progress.
  • Maintain strong communication with parents regarding the child’s academic and behavioral growth.

TGT Duties (Classes I to VIII):

  • Teach assigned subjects (e.g., English, EVS, Social Science, or Math depending on specialization).
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the CBSE curriculum.
  • Conduct assessments, remedial sessions, and interactive activities for holistic learning.
  • Manage classroom discipline and encourage cooperative learning.
  • Use smart class tools, presentations, and teaching aids to make learning interactive.
  • Participate in school functions, PTMs, workshops, and co-curricular programs.
  • Coordinate with colleagues and maintain student records.

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualifications:

  • For NTT:
    • Diploma/Certificate in Nursery Teacher Training (NTT) from a recognized institute (mandatory).
  • For TGT:
    • Bachelor’s Degree (B.A./B.Sc./B.Com. or equivalent) with minimum 50% marks.
    • B.Ed. from a recognized institution (mandatory as per CBSE norms).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CTET qualified (Paper I or II as applicable) – preferred but not mandatory.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English is essential.
  • Certification in child psychology, phonics, or early childhood education is a plus.

Experience:

  • Freshers with excellent communication skills and strong teaching aptitude may also apply.
