Job Summary:
To teach Commerce subjects (Accountancy, Business Studies, Economics, etc.) to students of classes XI and XII as per CBSE curriculum, ensuring academic excellence through a rich learning environment. The role also involves mentoring students and preparing them for board examinations and future academic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Commerce subjects as per CBSE curriculum (primarily Accountancy and Business Studies).
- Prepare lesson plans, question papers, assignments, and teaching aids aligned with CBSE guidelines.
- Conduct classroom sessions using effective teaching methodologies and technology integration.
- Evaluate students’ progress regularly through class tests, assignments, projects, and examinations.
- Guide and motivate students for academic competitions, commerce-related Olympiads, and career development.
- Maintain accurate student records and performance reports.
- Participate in curriculum planning, academic audits, and CBSE training workshops.
- Collaborate with other teachers, parents, and school administration for holistic development.
- Prepare students for Class XII CBSE board examinations, focusing on concept clarity and time management.
- Take remedial classes for weak students as needed.
Educational Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Commerce (M.Com) from a recognized university with at least 50% marks.
- B.Ed. degree from a recognized institution (mandatory for PGT as per CBSE).
Preferred Qualifications:
- CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test) qualified (if applicable).
- Additional qualifications like M.Ed., certifications in digital tools for teaching, or commerce education.
Experience:
- Freshers with strong subject knowledge and good communication skills may also apply.
